Another fabulous wedding at Ohme Gardens this summer photographing Ben & Vikki! Ben and Vikki was a wonderful couple to work with. One of the big questions to determine was “do we take photos of Ben and Vikki before or after the ceremony?” Ben and Vikki decided to have photos taken before the ceremony since the reception was at the gardens realizing people would want to visit after the wedding. Similar to other wedding events I found a beautiful location at the gardens near a pond where Vikki walked down stairs to see Ben for the first time prior to their wedding. It was a very sweet touching moment and from across the pond I captured this on film. They had their private moment and I was able to get some distance so they could feel that it was private between the two of them.
They had a friend officiate the ceremony which added a special touch to their wedding and after the ceremony he played bagpipes. What a nice special touch to their amazing day! The love at their wedding was evident between Vikki and Ben, family members and the love Ben’s daughters have for both Ben and Vikki. It was wonderful to see Vikki embraced with such love by her new daughters. It was a wonderful day to be a part of and a great reminder of what true love looks like. Thank you Ben and Vikki!
